bonjour everyone! today i present to you my favourite example of pattern placement to date; my 3rd moneta! i made this dress last weekend when we went to visit my boyfriend’s grandparents. i’d told his grandma about my overlocker and she asked me to take it with me for a sewing lesson, best ever! it’s safe to say, she now wants an overlocker!
hello everyonnneeee. i’ve had a bit of a frustrating sew-ing less weekend. although i had a lovely day with a few people fabric shopping on saturday, there’s nothing like getting to use the fabric you bought! i was knitting my jumper mostly and it just was NOT as satisfying as sewing, there’s no finishing knitting a jumper in a day. *sad face* i bought this peacock feather

yesterday, i went to my first ever sewing meet up! charlotte from english girl at home arranged it. i was quite nervous because i didn’t know anyone at the meet up. luckily i’d put the feelers out on instagram and a few people replied, yay! i pottered about with alex, megan and victoria who also didn’t know any body either. yay for being alone! haha. first stop
